...Love rituals...?????

Sorry for constantly hassling all of you for questions, but I am curious to know, do the elves have any particular love rituals..? Do they express their love for each other in a certain way..? Is there a symbol or gift that they give to one another to display their love..? How would they go about expressing their love..?
Or; are their ways that of the human race, and that it all depends on the elf him/herself..? I am curious as I came across a site which describes the elven ritual of marriage, describing that a couple would go into the wilderness for (I think) a year or two, and when they returned they would be deemed as a couple...??? Call me sceptic; but somehow I doubt JRR Tolikein's creations would display their love for each other in such a way....
