I've been thinking about what you said, Glor, for the past few days. You should know that if anyone else had said these things I would have dismissed them out of hand. Even as things stand, I have a hard time with your call for 'balance' when balance means the sort of murderous actions the orcs have long perpetrated. But you are the wisest of beings and so I listen. I think I have found a few flaws in your reasoning. First you suggest that humans are infiltrating the Orc Homes disguised as Orcs with the intent of destroying them. But we know that those who harm an Orc while in this disguise suffer damage from the explosive destruction of their disguise. Seems to defeat the purpose. Second you suggest we are being duped into aiding this purpose. Believe me, we humans have no need to be duped in these matters. I assure you that any request for a crusade to exterminate all Orcs would be met with glee in all cities across the realm. Thirdly you would have us believe that Orcish numbers are dwindling when the evidence of our eyes is that they are growing. Have you so soon forgotten the vast numbers in all of the Orc Forts of late? And my eyes tell me that many more Orcs are roaming the lands openly, waylaying travelers and building wars camps near our major cities. To what purpose I ask? I think rather that the Orcish numbers are growing, and that they have found a new Ally. I think this Ally is the same Dark One our Dreamers have been seeing for so long now. I have mentioned once long ago the vision I had of a great black cat moving out of the desert and slaying great numbers of Humans and Elves. I think this time fast approaches. But not just yet. First we will become distracted and embroiled in attacks upon our cities. And now, my friend, I sit back down to listen to what thoughts you may have upon these points. Let your wisdom enlighten this poor old round-ear as it has done so many times in the past.
