CAUTION: if you've got a weak stomach, or over active imagination, don't read any further. The slight elf opened her eyes softly, the dark, royal blue contrasting sharply with her fair, nearly snowy white skin. Her rich, fox-red hair lay roughed somewhat, unkempt-looking in the ragged ponytail, sweat-dampened, though nearly dry. Moments passed where entirely nothing came to the slight elf girl, simply stillness, touched softly by a sort of pain that covered her whole body - though itself was dull, residing patiently at the boarders of the half-dream she stayed within. Until now. Calista sat bolt upright, looking around her smallish room, her heart pounding in her ears - though the beating lessened as her slender form sank into itself softly - she was so tired - the momentary alertness faded from her form, her blue eyes dipping to the floor around her bed. Hes gone. The realization was quick in coming, though oddly, it left the slight elf with more questions amidst - again - the soft though aching pain that seemed to cover her body in full, and the heavy feeling of exhaustion. What happened? I mean
Slowly, Clalista recoiled, curling back up into the downy-soft red comfort of her bed - she hurt insidetruly hurt. The slight Elf closed her eyes somewhat firmly, in will dispelling some of the pain, though feeling only a little better. When again her azure eyes opened, they fell, across the room, to her under-garb, split slightly across the hem of one side. Images, nearly too fast for her to claim in thought, surged through her mind. The flagstones of the ceiling, his fierce, splitting gaze, his handon her throata sudden, tearing sensationthen the cool air of the evening upon the bare skin of her waist
Deeper, Calista curled into the rusty red, warm blankets, anxiety surging into her slight form. Again she closed her eyes, trying to perhaps sleepjustlet sleep carry these cares away, though in the blackness behind her eyes the images of the night before sprang in nearly taxing clarity. The small padded throne she sat in thrown back harshly, his handsgauntlets, hurting, on her wrists - she couldnt move under his weight - the powerful kissshed said no - didnt she? - and small, warm motes of shameshe couldnt even What happened? The thought made Calista open her eyes softly, though she could not see them, they shined with tears. Again, the slight elfin girl raised herself, settling across some of her pillows carefully - she still hurt inside. I said nobutI clung to him at the endI cried - mostly I cried, yetI meanI did not ask for thatI didnt want itI nevertold him that he could It hurtso muchbut it felt Even alone, Calista felt the warmth flush to her face and handsfeltthe shadows of the gaceless touch that her body reacted to - it was shame, now - but then it was fear, pain, pleasure, wonder, and at the last, shame The slight elf trembled softly, sinking into the protection her blankets offered when her eyes once more trailing to the floor, finding her well-worn shirt, torn from the lace down in the front. There I lay That was what she thought as she stood before him - it had not moved since that moment.
There, despite the pain still in her limbs, her neck, and her stomach, Calista stared at the thing, feeling at the first the antipathy of feeling itself - numbness. Her gaze focused, until the garment became a fuzzy brown blot upon a fuzzy grayish floor, the images - more, now, with more clarity - coming through the haze that became the world around. A single tear raced down her snowy fair cheek, plopping upon the skin at the back of her hand. Im surprised he didnt kill me with all that the slight elf girl thought. Again her form trembled softly, the shadows of the harsh affections becoming the same living play in more than her mind. At this tears flowed, a soft sob shaking the slight elf.
Curling about herself within the thick, heavy blankets, in anger more than anything else, the frustration of the uncertainty she experienced yet still was too much through the exhaustion and pain. She didnt even know if she wanted his graceless touch anymore - and if she did - if she did not? Too many feelings and thoughts, all seeming to conflict with each other lay beyond these simple questions.
The soft sound of the elf girl weeping did not last long before again rest - if one could call it that - claimed her once more.
