The carriage hit a rock, sending Rellah flying into the seat across from her. She caught herself before falling, straightening against the back of the plush seat. Odessa glanced to her before looking back out the carriage window, always alert to potential threats. Rellah turned to look at Nikita, who stared out the other window, her dark eyes shifting in color.

Nikita, Rellah whispered, touching her arm.

Nikita turned her head, her raven hair brushing into her eyes. Yes, my Lady?

I want to ask you about Rellah began, but Nikita put a slender finger to her lips.

Not now, my Lady, Nikita cut her off, smiling. She gave a wink to Rellah, motioning slightly toward Odessa. Rellah nodded, leaning back against her seat.

My Lady, look out the window, Odessa purred to her, pointing out her window.

Rellah followed Odessas hand, looking to the trees outside. When a clearing opened in the treeline, her heart almost stopped. In the distance, she could see the castle of Amadul, and the city below. Looking to the left of the castle, Rellah could make out Lady Telemnars tower. Every moment in the carriage lead her closer to imprisonment.

Trying not to scream and break free from the carriage, Rellah leaned back, and closed her eyes. She tried as hard as she could to picture her vision of Azeron and Lindel, embracing tightly, as the little girl had come home. A smile tugged at her lips and her heart sighed grew content.

Rellah thought then to the letter she left on Azerons desk.

Melamin,

I was unable to locate Lindel through a vision. Ive left the flute for Xanis sister to try her own methods.

By the time you read this, I will be halfway home. I know it's much sooner than expected...

I'm sorry but I could not wake you. Please forgive me for not saying goodbye.

Yours always -

Rellah

They had been waiting for her when she materialized in front of her home in Cove. Rellah had tried to speak to Nikita then, about her vision, but she was not allowed a word as they hurried her into warmer clothing for the journey ahead. Now, after crossing through many realms, they were finally approaching Amadul. A carriage had been waiting for them when they arrived in the realm. The whole journey felt like a dream to her. She only hoped to wake up in Azerons arms before she reached the castle gates.
