Re: I found this warning posted to the Silver Arrow door...

Edain and their pets? I hardly see the Skull Kicker Clan of orcs as anyone's pet, let alone the pets of a human. And since it was primarily orcs and Drow that assaulted the village, I would hope that they would be counted!

I guess I don't understand your response to the "Edain" if you know the story of what happened. And yes, I did take offense. You seemed to be making a racial comment, assuming that it was humans who were threatening and had taken the offense, when in fact most of the humans involved were the victims. The "Edain" weren't the bullies here. Perhaps if you had further defined the "creatures" you were aiming your comments at to include other than humans, I would have avoided taking offense.

And I'll admit, the fact that I considered you a friend, made the racially generic comment hurt all the more. I know that I tend to be sensitive to such issues, but when things are said that can be misunderstood or taken hurtfully, I have a difficult time staying silent. Much as you don't like being bullied, I don't like generic racial statements like the one you made. The orcs of the Skull Kicker Clan, the Drow of the Followers of Darkness, and the miscellaneous riffraff of the Vesper Trading Company are the scum you want to target your remarks to, not "Edain".
