Tyl stood with her friends watching as Elean cleaned his blade and sheathed it. She was smiling at the enthusiasm of her young friend and tried to remember when she too had been so sure she could save the world. Slowly her smile faded as a wave of disorientation swept over her and the skin on the back of her neck became chilled. It was as if a chill breeze had lightly brushed her and sped on. Looking around she checked to see if any of the others seemed to be in any discomfort, but none but her seemed to be quietly shivering. Checking her bracelet of binding she was horrified to see the color dimming as if the lifeblood of her beloved was also draining away. Gods above her Morion must not fade from this land; he was her life. “Copper, Joiwind, Elean… something is terribly wrong”, she managed to choke out. As they all looked at her she showed them the slowly dimming bracelet. For a moment no one was able to say a word, but all looked at each other in horror.
