Tyl slowly followed copper’s lead and was heading back to the Arrow. Despite her sense of unease, well it was actually more like spiraling dread, she was trying to not rush head long into blinding dashing one way and then another. Her training as an Ostar was fighting a battle with her heart but was slowly winning. She knew if she just took off that in the long run it could be the end of her melar. She had to be strong and more important, smart. So it was in a rather distracted and dazed mental condition that the farm woman found her. “Miss, miss.”, came a quiet voice off to the left of her. Looking around at first Tyl didn’t see where the voice was coming from. Slowly her vision cleared of the worry clouds that had kept it blurred and she was able to focus on a pair of edans in the edge of the trees that surrounded the glade. She became uncomfortably aware of their clean and fairly prosperous appearance. Hers, on the other hand, was that of sweaty leathers, covered with the dirt that comes from hunting and bringing down the creatures that threaten the safety of her glade. Shrugging that off she slowly and quietly moved forward to address the elder of the two, probably the mother of the younger girl.
“Yes, how may I help you,” she asked in common.
“Are you, umm Tylliena “, the woman stumbled over her name. There was something in her face, body stance and voice that caused a spear of fear as cold as and terrifying as anything Tyl had ever experienced to enter her very core.
“ Yes that is my name, how may I help you?” Tyl answered in a slow, halting common.
Very slowly and carefully the two edans explained what had happened at their farm and in their very home. At the end of their explanation, the mother slowly extended her hand out to Tyl. As she reached the full extension of her arm she hesitantly opened her fist and offered Tyl an object. At first Tyl couldn’t quite focus on what it was, her mind refused to accept what she saw. In her heart of hearts she knew that there was no way Morion would have given this up willingly. It had been her special gift to him and with all her love she had bound it to him; it was the twin to the bracelet on her arm. As her heart turned black in despair she started to refuse it, to scream at the woman that it wasn’t hers… that she had no idea what they were saying by giving it to her. But she knew that was false and she could not be false to Morion. Now more then ever he needed her. But where was he, for now she was deprived of the chance to gather him to her. Oh if she had only used her bracelet sooner. But the Glad would help her. In partnership he would be found. Turning to talk to the woman and her daughter, Tyl found they had quietly placed the bracelet on the ground by her, withdrawn and left. Quietly she picked it up. Now she would have to find them as well as Mor, for they might hold more information then they realized.
