Gmae mechanics and role play do not always mix well, and you have to give a little to be effective in the game.
I have a char that is fencing and archery.
I like her Para hits, and in Pvp a vang crossbow although slow will do major damage. (when it hits that is)Fencing Swords and Archery are all Dex based skilles, any of those two in combination will be effective for Pvm,
Pvp and role play depending upon you want to do most.
An elf would be either, most D&D are swords archery.
> So you say swordsmanship. First of all in my template I'm looking at using both archery and some form of melee combat, I wanted an opinion on a field of melee before I said what I heard. I used to be in an elven guild on Europa but left after a shortwhile, the leader didn't seem too knowledgable about what he said he was and I realized he plagarized this and at least one other site. Anyway, from that site I learnt that elves who pursue melee filed as well choose fencing and often choose spears. Does that make any sense? Or would a melee/fighter elf most likely choose swordsmanship? Thanks in advance.
