Pilin'aman,

I don't wish to lead you astray ... I am relatively new to this land and am not as knowledgeable as I might hope. I was merely working on the basis of Evlish lore I am gathering (mythology and some Tolkein).

Perhaps you might try asking one of the Members of tel'Ruid directly (those names highlighted in grey).

I am but a mere wandering elf, not so bad with the sword myself, but my pleasure is music and song ...

> So you say swordsmanship. First of all in my template I'm looking at using both archery and some form of melee combat, I wanted an opinion on a field of melee before I said what I heard. I used to be in an elven guild on Europa but left after a shortwhile, the leader didn't seem too knowledgable about what he said he was and I realized he plagarized this and at least one other site. Anyway, from that site I learnt that elves who pursue melee filed as well choose fencing and often choose spears. Does that make any sense? Or would a melee/fighter elf most likely choose swordsmanship? Thanks in advance.

> > My research has shown that Elves, especially those associated with the forest tend to use longbows ... however when that option is not available, I'm sure that a short sword is appropriate.
