The small girl stared at the huge monster. Yet something within her had snapped and all her reason and abilities to keep herself from giving free reign to her worry and frustration. So she lashed out with her words at the lich. "You are the intruder here, this was my home" she sneered at him. That only seemed to anger the lich further. "Remove thyself!" he shouted, lifting her and hurling her out the door into the snow, with but a thought.

"Damn you where is he!" She screamed at him.

"He will pay the price for your insolence, I'll send him to the depths of Deceit and what comes out, you won't like.. Now, remove thyself child!" Again he threw her out, without ever touching her. That last time, she simply stood out there, her senses returning to her. What had she done?

Murmuring the words of power, she disappeared from the snowy island and appeared in a back alley. Rushing to her rooms, she reached for her hawk and hurriedly penned a note.

"Find Andrew, my pet, and hurry!" She urged the bird as she attached the note to its claw with a simple warning written in it.

"Don't return to the tower. I'm sorry.
