The small figure stood in the doorway, staring at the urn. This place had once been so familiar to her and now it was as if she had never set foot in this tower before. What had once been the home that Andrew had brought her to to keep her safe from Mord'Syth, now bore no resemblence to it. If what she had gleaned from her visit to the glade was true, the roof would be where the elf, Q'wellen, had foolishly given his life for Myra Sunveil. Looking towards the ladder, she moved across the lower floor of what was now the tower and climbed into the second level. This was where she and Andrew had slept. Now the only things here, were the studieds on Khellenduras and that aborition that the sage claimed to be the lich.As she moved through the tower, her ire grew. Andrew had lied to her. He had told her that "I am doing this to protect you" when he had sent his raven to find her. She wasn't supposed to worry, she wasn't supposed to come looking for him. Yet after Myra's words, she had returned to this place and had felt her heart contract as she finally allowed her fears free reign. "Did he lie to you, girl? He's never done anything but tell you his loyalty was to the Hand...and that he loved you." She thought to herself, as she clenched her fists tightly. Ignoring the sage, she moved up to the roof.
This too, had changed. There was still blood smeared from where the elf had fallen. She did not linger on the roof, something there made her uneasy. Returning to the lower level, she sat on one of the back benches and stared at the urn. That was what had caused all her trouble. That was what had taken Andrew from her. Something in her urged her forward and she found her hands on that urn, lifting it from the altar she shook it, causing the lid to rattle. At that moment, she felt, then heard someone recall into the courtyard. Setting the urn down she moved towards the door. She didnt want to let anyone in.
"I've an appointment" the woman said.
"I don't care...you can wait with them," K'ryn said, nodding towards the pile of orc bodies.
"Are you another of his pets?" The woman said with a smirk.
"I am noone's pet!"
And so they waited at an impasse, until K'ryn once again moved into the temple, her attention on the urn. Lifting it, she juggled it lightly, then to the dismay of Vinson, opened it and spat into it. Yet something urged her to set the urn down again and move away from it.
She soon had her answer to why she set it down. Suddenly appearing behind her, the Lich himself stood.
