I sit here and listen to the rain..
Staring at this puter screen..
Thinking what to write, what to write..

Is it enough to say what we think?
Can we really tell what we feel..
What if no one will listen to what we say...

And then I stop and reread what I've said..
And wonder if it makes any sense..
But does it really have to?

In writting down these words..
I do feel quite mellow and calm with in..
But am I too sad to Poe in a way?

While I listen to the sound of the rain..
To the pattern of ripples and splatters..
I look into myself and gaze in wonder..

Who am I and why am I here?
Do I matter? Do you care?
Can I and will I make much difference?

One thing I do know..
When I am here I am happy..
While I sit here and listen to the rain...
