Thalen stood near the doors of the temple, as the gentle breeze began to slowly blow his hair around. He searched through his back pack, and found his deep brown colored bandana. He pulled up his hair, and tightened it on. As he walked up the steps of the temple, a strange feeling came upon him. He began thinking of his brother once again. He opened the large steel doors, and walked carefully up the marble steps. As he walked up, he saw a pentagram painted on the marble. He looked back at the painting, as he continued walking. Once he saw the ladder in his sight, he quickly began to climb it.
Once he had reached the top, the wind began to blow harder. As the sky quickly began to turn darker with clouds, he heard two weapons clash together. He turned back, and saw the very ugly warrior. Thalen looked down to his sword, and nodded to the warrior. The warrior then made a evil grin. He then sheethed his viking sword, and spun his large battle axe with one hand.
Thalen bit his lip, and began to regret what he was about to do. He quickly unsheethed his sword, and charged towards the warrior. The warrior continued spinning his axe, and Thalen struck the warrior's chest. The sword did not go all the way through, but it did have enough power to strike the warrior off the temple, making him land on the ground. As the warrior had fallen, the storm began to stop. Thalen slowly walked down the ladder, and then the steps.
Once he reached the ground, he looked over to the warrior's body. He carefully walked, and took a knee. He felt for the warrior's heart. It was not beating, and the warrior was very cold. Thalen felt very depressed, as he just had killed a man who hadn't even struck him. As he turned back, he remembered Lennux's words.
"The only way Magma will be brought back, is if ye can destroy the warrior,".
Thalen thought to himself about this. Why isn't he alive again? He should have arisen from the warrior's body. As he began to turn, he heard the body once again rise. He looked back, and the warrior stretched, and a loud cracking noise came out of his neck. Thalen looked to the wound he had given the warrior. There wasn't even a spot of blood.
The warrior began walking towards Thalen, and Thalen ran towards the Sisterhood Of The Ivory Maiden Embassy. He hid behind the building. The warrior grunted, and he peeked over the corner. As he watched, the warrior began to to float, and his arms came out. Then, the warrior vanished within thin air. As he had been leaving, a small crystal shard had dropped. It was a deep dark red color, and Thalen picked it up. As he watched, he saw a small fire in the crystal.
Once he had, he knew he must have someone study the crystal. He walked towards the Silver Arrow, and wrote a note. He handed the note to Barth, and told him to post it. The note read the following,:
"Vedui'
I am Thalen Lunefire, my brother was recently killed and I am seaching for his murderer. Today, I had found the murderer. I had damaged him, but he had somehow came back to life. Once I hid, he had vanished. There was a small crystal found below the warrior, and I must find someone to study it.
Thank ye,
Thalen Lunefire
Thalen slowly walked into the wilderness, making his way towards Yew.
