Magma quickly opened his eyes, and yawned. A healer brought him a tray,
full of food. He took it, and layed in bed. He began to eat the food on the
tray. Suddenly the building began to roar. The building was rumbling. Magma
was in severe pain, as the rumbling began to tear away his bandages.
"Close the doors!" a healer yelled. Cove was storming with orcs, and Magma
watched out of the window. A healer ran towards the door, shut it, and
locked it. Magma began to panic. He began to think about getting up, and fighting
for Cove. He quickly got out of the bed. He walked towards the healer.
"Where is my armor?" he said.
"It is laying in the back room, why?" the healer replied.
"I am going to fight for Cove..." Magma replied.
"Nay, you will not. You will stay in bed. The king's guard our on there
way." the healer said sternly.
"Aye, I will. The guards will not arrive in time." Magma calmly said. The
healer sighed.
"You are very heroic," the healer commented, and Magma nodded once. "Heroic
actions can get ye killed!" the healer yelled. Magma sighed, and walked
into the back room.
Magma took his robe off, and closed the door. He put on his platemail
armor. He slowly whipped the cloak over his shoulders, and buttoned it to
his armor. He took his shield tucked it under the rope, tied to the back of
his armor. He took out his sword, and put it on his belt. Magma grinned,
and began to speak to himself.
"Ye can do this Magma..." he commented. He opened the door, and walked down
the hall. He opened the door to go outside, and saw orcs everywhere. He
walked out.
"Ye can bring it!" he yelled in agony. With that small phrase, he quickly
unsheathed his sword, and took the shield of his back. He ran towards the
armies.
The orcs began to shoot arrows at him. Magma held his shield to cover
himself. "They know how to use bows?" Magma said to himself. He ran at the
orcish archers, and slashed at them with his sword. Blood began to fly
everywhere. as he slashed the orcish hordes down. Suddenly, a storm began
to unravel. The sky filled with deep dark shadowy clouds, and it began to
rain.
The gate began to open. The creaky noises of it gave Magma goose bumps.
As it opened, he saw dark shadow platemail legs. As it continued to open,
Magma noticed it was the warrior. The warrior ran in and began to fight
Magma, as the orcs attacked the two.
"Rah!" the warrior screamed as he ran to Magma. The warrior quickly tried
to jab Magma, but Magma blocked it with his shield. The orcs continued
launching arrows at the two.
The warrior became irritated, and raced off, slicing all the orcs down.
Suddenly storms of guards came. Magma looked up at the gate, and saw the
steps. There was a guard up there. "If I can get up there, the guard and I
and destroy the warrior" Magma whispered to himself, as the warrior
continued killing the orcs. Magma ran to the up the steps, and raced
towards the guard.
"Help me fight this warrior!" Magma yelled to the guard. The guard screamed
"Aye!".
The warrior slowly walked up the steps, his blade wet with blood. The
wind blew a slight breeze, as Magma and the guard stared at the warrior.
Suddenly, the king's guards arrived, and looked up at the three. The
warrior was very much taller then the two. The guards held his halberd
high. Magma gulped, and was ready to fight. The warrior yelled as he ran at
the two. The warrior struck his sword high, and Magma ducked. The guard
brought his halberd up for defense, but failed to block the attack. He flew
off the tall gate, and landed on a tree. The tree punctured though the
guards platemail, and blood squirted up.
Magma looked at the man, as he dropped his helmet and shield to the
ground. The two stole glances as they prepared for a fight. The warrior
suddenly brought sword up, and brought it down to strike Magma's face.
Magma raised his sword his sword for defense, the warrior quickly brought
it down, but Magma stabbed his sword into the warriors gut. The warrior
screamed in pain. The warrior brought his sword down once again, this time
swiping the sword from shoulder to shoulder at Magma. The sword sliced
through Magma's plate mail chest, and blood squirted out of it. The guards
raced up the steps, as the warrior picked up Magma off the ground.
He held Magma in his hand's, and quickly through Magma off the gate, as
Magma made a smashing noise, as his body hit the ground. The warrior looked
towards the guards. The warrior spun around, and moved his sword from the
left to the right. He ran towards the guards, with his sword held high. The
guards struck there halberds at him. The warrior spun as he ran through the
pile, and blocked all the attacks. He ran down the steps.
The guards quickly reacted, and began closing the gate. The warrior ran,
but the gate closed. The warrior ran the opposite direction, and jumped on
a boat. He quickly brought it to sail, and left Cove.
The guards woke Magma up. Magma yelled in pain. They brought him to the
healers. The healer's gasped as they brought him in. They took off his
platemail armor. They set him in bed, and gave him there treatment. Magma's
chest had a line from shoulder to shoulder, dripping with blood. They
bandaged him up, and let him sleep.
He woke up around dinner time. He got up, and told them he was going to
leave for awhile. They tried to stop him, but they failed.
