Rhaessi:I have hopes that I've gotten your name right. So much has happened since we parted ways. The dreams...by the gods, they haunt me so. I wish endlessly that they would stop, but they grow more intense and evil. I grow frightened for my life Rhaessi, and you are the only one that can lead us to where all this is going. I don't know when or if you'll be able to find me in time to save your friend, but know that I'm being watched, and follwed, not only in my travels, but in my dreams. I fear Magras is here, or close by, and he has become arrogant in his success so far.
Rhaessi. I can't stress enough the importance of what I'm about to say. Magras must not be allowed to enter Brittania, and Griegan is the Heart of it all, the Heart of Draeu. There is a rift that has been opened following the passage of myself and Griegan to this world, slowly more mages and adventurers have crossed that rift. You must understand, Draeu is a fairly new realm. It's existence relies on the balance of its gods. As soon as Magras leaves Draeu and crosses the rift, Kithragos and Bemyar will have no control over the destructive forces that Magras kept at bay. Draeu will be destroyed. I have spent much time at the Shrine of Sacrifice, the location of the rift. And I have learned much from the mutterings of those that wait beyond that gate across realms. Magras will have no godly power in Brittania, but he will not be an easy foe to defeat with fists alone. Our first task must be to stop Magras from entering Brittania, and as far as I can tell, there is only one way to make it work. If two people walk into the rift at the same time from the different realms, their existence will be negated in the plane that divides the two realms. We must get someone to walk into the rift at the exact time Magras does. Magras will die at that point, and his soul should be returned to Draeu. The person I see completing the other half of the task is myself/Griegan. At the moment I/we step through I/we will die, our souls divided at last...the rest is...slightly grey and cloudy...either Griegan's soul and mine will be returned to Brittania for a quick rez, or we'll both be sent to Draeu, or we'll both cease to exist.
I believe my time here is finished. I hated this realm with a passion always. Once I had control over my body again (Griegan's body) I quickly found that I missed what I left behind in Draeu. I apologize for not helping you earlier, and...I almost fear I've done us all in, because I don't know where I am. I stepped through the moongate not knowing where to go, I just wanted to be away from you people. I've been hiding out in a farmhouse stable, the monsters here are numerous, and I fear gravely for my life.
My mind races ahead of me...
Where was I?
Oh yes, the exact hour of Magras's entry to this realm will be in three days time. If you can't find me, you must at least try and stop Magras another way. I suggest you follow the directions of the dream...you're supposed to have 3 people, correct? Post one at each of the Shrines of Sacrifice, it is impossible to see which one he'll use...and be ready, for in the last moments, there is no way to tell what will happen. Magras is a slippery one, and should not be taken lightly. If all goes well, I should see you as soon as you figure out where I am. I don't remember ever seeing this part of Brittania before, its all new to me and I lived here for several years...
Good luck to all of us, and may Aluin rest our souls should things go awry.
Aluin be with you.
