Date: Friday, May 18, 2001 @ 8:00 PM CST

Time: Registration takes place from 7:30 - 8:00 PM CST. Gates will be leaving the Village @ 8:15 PM CST (Please try to be there on time, if not early). There will be NO late entries.

Where: The event takes place in a secret location but leaves from the Alliance Village. Seperate Gates will be provided in the Village for both participants and spectators. The coordinates are 136*24'S, 27*12'E . www.allianceknights.com/village.html

Entry Fee: 1200 per team. ONLY teams may enter. No individual pairings.

Prizes are: 20,000 gold pieces for the winner (10,000 per person). 10,000 for second place (5,000 per person)

Description:
This event will be a 2 person team Free-for-All in a pre-determined but undisclosed location.

Event Rules:
- Any and all Magic Items/Weapons are allowed EXCEPT any Magic Reflect Items or Armor
- Mounts WILL be allowed, but may not fight in any way, shape or form
- No tamed animals except mounts.
- No looting of any sort, in any way!
- All spells allowed EXCEPT: No Summoning spells (this includes Blade Spirits and Energy Vortexs, No recall/gating, No Invisibility.
- No Hiding due to the nature of the event.
- Precasting/Predrinking is allowed
- *There will be NO time limit. The event ends when there is one team left.
- Poisoned weapons ARE allowed.
- No help from outside the ring.
- When/if you die, we will try to come to rez you ASAP, please gather your things and stand next to the OUTSIDE of the arena with your death robe ON so the rest of the combatants can seperate those that are still in from those who are not.
- Once you die, you are out for the match and may not re-enter or help your teammate in any way shape or form. Doing so results in Disqualification for your entire team.
- If a situation arises where combatants are "blue" to one another they may be asked to stop and flag before continuing, but this is left solely to the discretion of the parties involved.

As a reminder to all participants in this Golden Knight event: As we try thoroughly to protect and oversee everyone that enters our event, please remember that KoA or it's event helpers are not responsible for lost, stolen or ruined items in our event. We do this as a form of entertainment for the general community and do everything in our natural powers to protect the people that participate, spectate or help with our events. Remember, we are players just like you, we aren't gods and can not be at all places at all times to monitor everything. Thank you for your understanding.

Reminders For Spectators:
-- No faction fighting in the Village prior to the event or during the event while it is being held.
-- Please do not equip bows around the ring. Spells or potions may hit you that will cause you to attack fighters in the ring.
-- Please try to stable or feed your mount prior to the event. Wild mounts are a problem.
-- No casting, sparring, or fighting right around the ring. If you wish to do this, please go to another location.
-- No spectators in the arena after the event begins.
-- The Golden Knights event is an OSI sponsored event for Lake Superior. Grief players may be removed and/or jailed, banned, etc. The consequences for disruption are solely the decision of the representatives of Origin Systems.
