Mela, I do hape my other letters have described my place in this realm all too well - I cannot write on it anymore. Ever since the gate closed behaind me I have sought way from this prison - and so far, Dol, I have not found it. Oh, would all the wealth in the world be mine I would relinquish it all with naught but a nod would I be given the chance to see y...*the ink, ever so old, blurs for a few lines*
...m so tired. It is terribly cold here. Thus far I have seen no other life save my own - and even that seems to be dimming - save the tree that I had first written you about. This lonlieness that I have talked about before does indeed rival even the most fell of deamons - pitting self against self. Though, oddly, the aftermath of such battles yields knowledge - innermost - that one had no thought of before. I...think much about you and I. The only berevement that I can offer you, melamin, is my apology - and wish so deeply for your grace. I know not if ever I shall know love in another - I scarcely trust myself with so pure a thing when my very nature defies innocence. As I have written, Dol, I shall ever love you. How can I forget your gentleess and compassion that has only run dry upon part of my own fault? I cannot. The tears I shead over us, however, still flow - I could not imagine them not. When I am upon this wasteland at night I swear that I see you - Dol I cannot leave the romance that once was! I know that you must have moved on in love since my disappearance - and I respect that - indeed - I commend that. Yet, inly, I search my soul for your memories - as of late they are the only things that have kept me in my right of mind - if even to that I still lay claim. Though, I do not know if this is my last letter - as the seas - they stretch for an infinite number of leagues - and I know not if these confessions of love and sorrow have even fallen into your hands. It was easy at first - yet - to give so much, so passionately - and have your passion fall into a void that ne'er gives back - I see why I have hurt you so. For this I am so very sorry! The deapth of pain that I see my hand contributed to haunts me nightly, I never knew how much I lo...

...had never noticed how devoted that you had been - how gracious. I may spend my life's time asking why I had not seen your deeds as what they were! Again I can only beg your forgiveness! I am so empty! May you, at the least find love once again - I implore you to! It is the spice of life!
As for me, my dark times are now just beginning. The sapling that I had told you of - it is almost gone - consumed by the fell breath of frost of this place. Should it die - I have promised - I will die with it - for though I am upon this earth - I am still dead without life's seasoning upon my mind and body - for what is alt without its saltiness? May the fates bring what is right, Melamin,
