*the drow sat down again, resting his feet on the corpse of a giant spider, he returned to his journal. the broadsword was glowing a faint blue, he looked closer and saw that it was a broadsword of vanquishing, the strange warrior sat down in a corner and removed a flask from his body sash. about ten minutes later another of these warriors walked in, this one a women - wearing exactly the same. Surprisingly this one also also carried a weapon of vanquishing, this one a longsword. the male warrior stood up and greeted the newcomer, then both sat down and began to talk in a celestiel tongue, full of complex sounds, whistles and chime-like noises. after ten minutes or so another walked in, a male this time, dressed in exactly the same manner but with black instead of grey, obviously one of importance. A katana of vanquishing! quickly he spoke to them and then they all left. I stood up an followed them to a large tower, fully a half hours run from the tavern. they waited outside and were soon joined by another two, only one of these bearing a weapon of vanquishing. the other was speaking to the others in the common, from what I could work out the others were staging a level five treasure hunt to obtain a weapon of vanquishing for the newest one arriving, as far as I could gather, a new member of this group. as they spoke to each other, in the common for the benefit of the newest one there another four arrived. they left quickly, heading to the sea where another of them was waiting on a large dragon ship. when all but the one in black was aboard another came running swiftly, a mage this time. he hastily ran on, though he was wearing leather instead of chainmail he seemed to be one of them. the one in black turned to be then, I had been hidden but he had seen me so easily! he said, in a strange voice, slightly accented, 'what have you to do with the Temple of Blades young drow?' I paled in terror, the Temple of Blades had returned!. I ran, I ran as fast as I could, if the Temple had returned, felucca was safe no longer. the drow stood. he was still shaking slightly, he walked back to rthe Silver Arrow and collapsed into a chair.* (OOC: I have had to do this pretty much from memory so it may not be as accurate as possible, but they did (all but the mage and the new one) have swords of vanquising and they were part of the guild the 'Temple of Blades' (though they use a different name and do not display their title) who tend to hunt down anyone and anything in their way.)
