While walking to the Arrow, the crisp scent of summer air fluttered by. Upon walking inside it was replaced by the smell of freshly baked bread, various soups, and a hint of wine dancing together to create a pleasant, relaxing, and very familiar aroma. This all clashed, of course, with the dirtied up figure that had just entered the establishment. It had been nearly two weeks since a suitable camp ground had been located and even longer since there was flowing water. All the rivers that were passed had been reduced to a trickle from an unusual drought. This all explained the mud tracked across the neatly swept flooring.

Hmm.....I'll clean it up later. Now it's just good to be somewhere friendly. Now I can relax

To any onlooker the figure looked very out of place, and almost hostile in nature. The dark, dirty cloak shrouded the thin figure in a mass of cloth. The hood of the cloak covered the unwashed hair of the seemingly intruder, obstructing all features that should have been identifiable. If it weren't for the cloak covering their view, those who entered would surely recognize the elven craftsmanship of the bow and sword. Unfortunately for the traveler, luck was not on their side.
