To whom it may concern:

I don't know about a poem, but about 30 years ago I wrote a bawdy song called "Elves do it the Trees," back when I was active in the Society for Creative Anachronism, and went by the name of Eldoreth (or Eldoredd) Greysquirrel. I also did a parody of my own song called "Orcs do it the Dirt." If the poem in question begins with "A lad was in the woods one day, an elfin maid spied he, she lured him up an ancient tree, and he came down most untidy," then that is indeed my song.
