Unusual Sightings

I've been in contact with the little pixie Whisper for a couple weeks now, working to calm her down and get her to return to The Glade. Getting her to undertand that what she found was not condoned by the general population of Tel Ruid.

That, however, is a discussion for another time....

Tonight I was sitting at home doing some paperwork when suddenly a flash of light outside caught my eye and there was Whisper, badly beaten and scared near to death! I got her in the house and healed her, calming her down enough to tell me what happened. It seemed Whisper had been walking down the road going from Yew to Brtain, letting her grizzlies deal with any creatures encountered. Then, just in front of the mountain pass going to Britain she had been jumped by creatures that should not have been there, a lich, an ogre lord, and a group of dread spiders. Her bears had managed to kill the lich but were slaughtered by the ogre lord, and she had barely managed to get away with her own life.

Leaving Whisper at home, I quickly suited up and made my way to the pass only to find I had just missed the action. The ogre lord and most of the spiders had already been killed by other adventurers, with only one spider left for me to deal with. An extensive look around showed no more creatures (beyond the norm for the area). Still, very unusual to find such high-end creatures so close to the city.

On a different matter, earlier today I was exploring the area around Umbra and found the entrance to Doom. I didn't go far from the entrance of course, the room directly to the east had a Devourer of Souls while the Right had Rotting Corpes' (much nastier than their name sounds). Not a place one would want to go alone, but it might make for a serious Faratura.
