"So, Lor, how's business," Cori's languid voice startles the man she pays to hawk her goods."Oh gosh, Miss Cori, we might have a problem," the vendor, still trembling slightly, answers, "ya see there was this.. little fae in here and she .. well she plum went crazy on me! I was afraid for my life!"
The man goes on to explain that the fae in question took exception to one of the items Cori has given him to sell and that he was worried she would come back and do something drastic!
"There, there, Lor, just explain to the little fae that you were only doing what I told you to," Cori patiently reassures the man, all the while laughing that the offending item sold, none the less.
Waving to the vendor as she starts home, she chuckles to herself but decides that perhaps selling everything people give to her might not be the wisest of business moves.
"Alright, no more pixie legs, they were never a hot item, anyway," she mutters to her supplier who gives her a sour look.
"Now who's gonna take em off mehands, missy?" was the gruff answer.
"Not my problem, I have a rioting fae after me, you find someone else to peddle you flesh to, maybe you can sell them to the Mayor of Luna, I hear he has a sick appetite."
