To save an elf.

Lucky watched as Maya tried to follow him. The elf had a good heart but she certainly did not have the right mannerisms to be a lady of the night. Lucky knew a lot about those types of ladies, they practically raised him. Lucky swore gently under his breath. She was going to get herself killed and probably him too. If any of the thieves saw her traipsing about it could be very bad. Furthermore, he had work to do this evening and Maya certainly should not be around. Suddenly Lucky got a plan. Up ahead on the corner sat Gurg; he was or used to be a very talented thief now he was just to put it mildly fat. No fat would be an understatement Gigantic would better describe it, and he smelt like two-week-old milk that had been left in the sun to rot. Lucky stopped breathing through his nose to try and filter out the stench.
�Gurg, hey Gurg.� Lucky hailed as he approached.

�Whatchaa want Lucky?� Gurg said as he stuffed a Sardine and bacon sandwich in his huge maw.

�Ya see that hot little elf whore back there about a block.� Lucky said pointing

Gurg squinted his eyes as he rubbed his greasy hands on his pant legs. �Oh yeah I see�s her� he said.

�Well today is your lucky day Gurg, I had a big score and I bought her for ya. She will do anything ya want!� then as an after thought Lucky added �Twice!!�

�REALLY!� Gurg exclaimed with glee in his eyes� �Gads, Luck it�s been ages since I had a woman. She must be new huh? None of the other whores will even take my money.�

�Yup she is new, not even broken in yet. You get the first ride mate.� Lucky said with a smirk. �So when she comes up this way ya just tell her that your Gurg and if she gets all shy or refuses you just make sure you get your moneys worth anyway cause I paid for it. Don�t let her scam you out of my gold.� Lucky said as he walked away.

�Oh don�t worry Lucky she won�t get away from me.� Gurg said rubbing the front of his pants.

Lucky smiled as he walked quickly away. There was no way that Gurg could catch Maya if she didn�t want him to. And if for some reason Gurg were able to catch her, the act of actually making love to anyone would kill him before he could even get his pants undone. Hell the man could not even lace a boot without resting for 30 minutes between each strap�If Gurg ran more then a couple of steps he probably would die, but it should teach Maya a lesson about spying and Gurg would detain her for at least a minute or three. That�s all the time Luck would need, there was a secret passage that only the thieves knew about up ahead. That would let him slip away. Even if she followed she didn�t know the password to get pass the sentry and the lock. Maya would be mad, but Lucky knew it was for her safety and best interest.
