Tamlin was scowling as she slunk through the woods near Cove. "Stealing ships... what's gotten into him?" The elf girl paused, pushing her hair out of her face, she was pretty sure she was still heading for the Minoc moongate... pretty sure.Earlier that day she'd ran into Lucky out side the north bank in Trinsic. He'd been acting more fidgety than normal and when she asked about his jitters she wasn't able to get much out of the older blonde elf. He kept asking her if she'd help him, but wouldn't say with what exactly.

"Fine.. on the ship.... where is it?" She asked with a sigh.
Lucky smiled nervously, "I've got it parked near the paladins island, safest place in Trinsic! er... but I'll ah.. need you to distract them so they don't see me getting on, I don't want any one to know I'm leaving."
Her interest quipped Tamlin had agreed to distract the paladins a bit to allow for Lucky's secretive departure. After the fact she felt a bit discused with her self for agreeing to it. Lucky hadn't been trying to leave in secrecy, he'd been stealing a ship! She'd thought he'd been slipping the ship key back into his pocket, but it had been lock picks. If that had been immediately clear to the Kagonesti or she'd never have even set foot on the ship.
Once on board he'd explained that they were hunting sea serpents.

She tried to get the reason out of him, but Lucky kept hedging around a real answer. Her notions of his needing special scales for some new armor or a ritual were fading fast.
"Lucky what exactly are you playing at?"
"Don't worry you'll get your cut!" He'd snapped back, all pretenses fading, "You'll have a share of what ever bootys in the hull and the gold... after were done with the job."
Tamlin had gasped, "What job? booty?! Lucky!! Did you steal this ship?!"
His crooked grin was her only answer.
She'd demanded he set her ashore at that point, and now, hours later as she picked her way through the woods, Tam was just glad they'd been near the main land and that she hadn't ended up on some deserted island.
