Author's note: I just notice that everyone tries to think of Drows as this misunderstood race. That they might be good, but no one lets them. To my understanding, Drows are selfish creatures, much like humans. Only doing things to benefit for themselves. So I tried to capture this in an original five part story I call, "The Once Dark Lore." If you don't like my first post, I won't continue so, please post an opinion."I can't believe you missed it again!" La'Feima screamed.
She was head mistress of the Drow Clan Tu'Mis'Dia. She felt that since the recent tragedy, the men of the tribe have been lacking in their duties. She felt that no longer should men be slightly under women of Drow Clans. She felt that they should be slaves, used only to make more women or do half-way jobs that was undeserving of any woman.
"I'm sorry, Mistree La'Feima. It won't happen again," Korogo bowed with an awkward look about his face.
It had seemed, or more likely appeared, that Korogo had surcome less and less to the orders of women from Drow tribes. He had began to grow out of his childhood, and his mind ran rapid with adventurous natures and thoughts that were not supposed to be thought by men of the Drow kind.
"Not from you it won't. young Korogo. You'll be imprisoned for thirty days, and only released if you are able to repeat the entire Drowian Biblical text. We can't keep having your awkward strides of adventure on our hands," La'Feima explained in a harsh toned.
"How can you imprison a Drow anymore than make him live here. We live below the earth like some kind of insect. Forgive me, Mistress, but your punishment does me no harm." Korogo tried not to sound ungrateful.
The Mistress gave him a stern look, as if death was the only logical reason. She paced for a moment with a dry look about her. She was in an estranged state that Korogo had never seen about her before.
"Alright, Korogo. I understand that you're young and you want out of this place. So, I'll grant your wish. You're sentenced to Thirty days above ground, and under no protection of Drowian clans, including that of the Tu'Mis'Dia." The Mistress paused for a moment for a remark of forgiveness.
Korogo smiled and remarked happily, "If that is your wish. I will pack my things immediately."
"No you won't. You will be allowed nothing. No extra clothing, no food, no water, and especially...no weapons. Sorry, Korogo, you're on your own." The Mistress hastened the punishment.
Korogo bowed his head slightly, his face turning to a colder more nervous face. His lips trembled for a moment. He had never been up on the surface on his own, and he had never been out of the Borduem Forest. Traveling Winnebury Road would be an expirience to him, all its own.
Korog was immediately taken above the surface by four armed guards. As per procedure, the guards looked around for a moment, and scanned the trees. They could not have Wood Elves finding entrances to their "facility" or sorts. Korogo had noticed that it had grown colder, and something he was unfamiliar with had come through. Some object floating in the sky that people called Ki Luna, had shone into his eyes, more brightly than anything had caught his attention before that time.
The three armed guards made their way back into the ground, and sealed the way. Korog knew it was no use trying to get back in. Even if he could get past the seal, armed guards were flooding the corridor that lead into Tu'Mis'Dia.
Korogo turned around and began to walk down Winnebury Road. It seemed like the forest had gone on forever. It was not until the end of the forest did Korogo realize what he was getting himself into.
