*reads the condoleances from Lindor and Illisse ar Valandil one more time, sighes and then takes parchment and Quill*Dear Mellonea
Diolla lle for the letters of comfort, The ashes have been gathered and spread over the mountains as if he were a king. Zhepphyr was a good friend and a brother in arms. As I may have written before, he knew that his life was ending. When Fallana and Shahagin found him in the mountains near Tel'Ruid he were already blind. He told me that it had come rather unexpected. He had hoped that he would've been able to get home before that happened. It were not his sudden blindness that ended it, but the colision with the mountainflank. The dragon healer told me that he had a bad scullfracture...lucky he didn't suffered too long. It were over ten minutes after he had arrived here at Eldrihir. He told me he had waited to die 'till he'd be with me. His love and friendship for me and my husbands and children made him fight for his life. He told me he wanted to die in my arms; his mighty head upon my lap...and he died there. *blinks tear away* Ow you should see his youngs, they too begin to talk... one of them is very interrested in me. I named him Thowra, he's all white and has a golden belly plus oceanblue eyes. The other young is pale blue with a white belly and fiery red eyes, and two look like the mother, all green with a dark green belly and a horned tail and yellow eyes. Everyone says that those four youngs are the most beautifull dragons they have ever seen.
I'm still wondering if all this ain't a bad dream and often call his name during the night. But then I realize that it is real and I feel a certain pain in my heart. Golradir says it needs time to heal but, I fear that this wound will never fully heal. I know I have to take care of my children, but ow I really wished I could see them play with him. Gliding off his back over his tail and onto the ground...*smiles a bit*
As for the moment all is quiet here, despite the reports of orcs moving around. Shahagin and Fallana along with Tvalarish are now constantly patrolling over the mountainroads, but I have no fear.
Ow and as for your adventure Illisse, I hope you don't meet too much problems this time, you had your share already.(OOC: the story is great, send it to the publishers...give it a try and I hope that it'll be a succes)
I hope that this letter reaches you three, wherever you are... Tvalarish ain't such a good scout as Zhepphyr was but I have faith in him...
