*looks at the nightly sky* I'm glad i'm a father but yet, I can' imagine what Valandil feels... knowing that he'll never be one." Golradir sighes. "*sighes deeply* I feel sorry for him too, but I'm already glad he and Illisse were agree with being their aunt and uncle of honor, maybe, just maybe it takes her pain away just a bit..." Gonfindl responds while giving his friend a cup of wine. "*shakes head* I don't think it can, but... never give up hope. By the way Illisse has discussed that matter with Isil before they left and i heard the conversation. Illisse said that their lives seemed to be filled with troubles, too dangerous to put a child's life at risk...and honestly said she's right. But I noticed Isil's eyes and I do believe she's writing a letter right now..." Golradir notices before drinking his cup empty.Meanwhile I sit at the table and try to write a decent letter. while the candles are slowly burning up, the pile of 'bad letters' parchment grows larger. "*sighes* ow how do i have to put such feelings in a letter, it'll hurt her so much if i tell her that me and the children are alright...*sighes again*" I whisper while gazing at the candles. Finally i sigh once more and gaze at the parchment in front of me.
Dear Illisse
First of all I'm glad you both were agree to be uncle and aunt of honor. It really made us happy. But there is one other matter I wanted to write about, to relieve my heart a bit.
Our conversation before you left, has touched me more than I ever could think, neverless you're right and I admire your decision. Considdering the dangers you've already faced -the ones you told me when I were delivering- and perhapse even more dangers ahead (I hope and pray that that never comes)you have made a wise choice. *pauses and sighes wiping a tear away* it hurts me, honest, I still can't shake the feeling that you deserve to have a family, perhapse you deserve it even more than me...
Now don't be offended, I know and respect your choices and I admire you even more now for being so courageous. But know this...I'll always be here to aide you whenever you need my help. Shishelinda -my new housekeeper since raising three children ain't easy.- has told me that in case it would be necessary, she'd be there too.
As for the rest all is quiet here, almost too quiet...as if something dangerous is in the air. But do not worry about me, just make sure you are alright and Valandil is spoiled... (know what I mean?).
As for Shishelinda, she is one of the 'ladies' of the Bathhouse, do ask Lindor about her, he will remember her...
Ow before i forget, included with this letter you'll find a large basket with pies. I've made several ones; strawberry pie, mango&peach pie, applecake, banana&almondcake, mixed fruit pie with whipped cream, cherry&raspberry pie, blueberry pie, elderberrycake and chocolate pie. I were able to buy some cacao from a trading merchant. But do save a piece for Lindor, he loves chocolatepie too. And last but not least a few bags of our finest wines. Golradir said that these belong to you since you weren't able to finish the barrel that were appointed to you three during the feasts.
Fair winds Illisse and Valandil 'till we meet again.
Isilheledh
"*Reads the letter* Very well, better than this I can't get it, my heart is so...sad." I sigh while folding it. I walk outside followed by Shishelinda who carries the huge basket. I walk over to Zhepphyr who snorts and begins to complain "*snorts* Oh no not again, I'm tired of being a flying Tavern...that basket is large enough but those bags of wine...please I'm an old dragon"
"*looks at him* you'll deliver these gifts to Illisse and Valandil, they are family of honor now, and family takes care of eachother." I say while tying the basket and the bags onto his saddle. "And don't lose the cargo...or you'll be cleaning the dragons lair for six weeks" I add before walking away. Zhepphyr snorts and then sighes "anything but that, alright I'm on my way, but where are they anyway?"
"*looks at the stars* on their way to Tel'Ruid fly over the road that leads to the East, but their scent is still fresh in your nose, you'll find them easely. That is the main reason that i use you to deliver these things; no other dragon can do this better than you." I respond. Zhepphyr nods and then flies off, straight into the night's sky. I sigh and then return to the bakery. Golradir stands in the doorway and sighes deeply "you needed to relieve your heart, *turns to Shishelinda* we'll see you tomorrow, and thanks again for the aide."
"*nods* it is a pleasure lord Golradir... goodnight lady Isilheledh, sweet dreams...and wish lord Gonfindl a goodnight from me too " Shishelinda responds. I nod and then go indoors too.
