"*wakes up with a rather painfull lower body* ouch, man that was some night..." Golradir sighes while stretching. "*yawns*it sure was different, but, come to think of it, I haven't got a clue what time it is now *grabs clothes*" I respond "*peeks outside* around noon, hey those are my pants Golradir" Gonfindl responds while taking his clothes. As we're getting dressed a horn sounds and a messenger stands in front of townsquare. "*gazes at the man* this is it, the note has been pinned onto the board, Dun Natal is sealed" Golradir sighes before going downstairs. A bit nervous we follow and then go outside to check the note. Near the board our mayor talks to a few men. "*looks up* Ah Isilheledh, good to see you, where are your dragons, From this moment on you're no longer allowed to fly away." "*shakes head* I dunno mayor, but I don't see a reason why we can't fly.." I respond as casual as I can, trying to hide an upcoming rage of anger. "*looks at the sky* well eh, you see, during winter season the weather can be rather tricky here, alright now the sky is clear and the sun is shining, but the storm of last night and the day before...you know *bites upper lip* I can't allow our only bakery to quit business can I?" the mayor responds before leaving the square. "*whispers* he has seen us, and he knows that we have read the bulletin, now we have to get out of here as quick as we can." "*whispers too* I'm agree with Gonfindl, if we don't leave now, we'll never be able to leave" Golradir then peeks at the town hall and then sighes again "I wonder how long it 'll take before they realize that their books are gone." "*taps upon his arm* i do think they just found out, but not to worry, I've burned the books, after taking crypted notes. and they are hidden in the cooking books." I softly respond before going back to the house. "Is the bakery open?" a voice asks "*shakes head* no mayor and i'm afraid the bakery won't open unless you can say 'abracadabra' and a whole supply of flour and sugar plus other things appear. Things I need to make bread and pies, plus cookies." I respond with a rather poisonous undertone in my voice. "*eyes narrow* guess you can't uh? well that is too bad then, you can eat moldy bread, very good for the stomach." I add before entering the house and then slam the door shut in front of his nose. "*grins* that was a splendid thing to say, heart of mine. What do you think, a game in the kitchen or you prefer the bakery?" Golradir asks "is that all you can think of? at this time?" Gonfindl asks amused. "*nods* I can't help it that I'm hot and, steaming, guess I'm in season?" Golradir answers before laughing causing us to laugh too. "*wipes tears off face* heheheh, that is a good one, well at least we have some time for it, *hears a knock at the door* or then again not...*opens the door* yes?" "*gazes at us* Isilheledh, eh I have checked the barn for supplies and I have reasons to believe that there is plenty of ingredients left for you to continue business." "*hisses* look mayor, I have a day off today, and the rest of the week alright? bake your own bread if it is that urgent, but I've been working for less than a year now and never had a single day off, so it is my vacation week, *smiles* bakery will be open again at the end of next week now if you'll excuse me, I've got two men here who need some attention." I say before slamming the door shut and then lock it. "*mumbles* stupid idiot,*winks* now as for you two, come over to the bakery and I'll be the topping of the cake *giggles*" "*roars as beasts* hey we're coming, ready or not" Gonfindl and Golradir respond before following me to the bakery. Yet when they arrive I stand near an open trapdoor and smile "this will be our escape route, when my parents and I built this bakery, we thought about possible accidents and father decided to dig this escape tunnel just in case of a fire. It leads to the forest behind the bakery." I say. "*smiles too* how could I have forgotten this, now when will we leave?" Gonfindl asks "*gazes at the sky* as soon as night falls, no need to pack things, my guess is that our mayor is up to something now, after all he couldn't accept it that I turned him down and took you instead Golradir." I respond while sweeping the tables clean. "*peeks outside* you guess he's up to something no good?" Golradir asks. "I know this for sure, that is the reason why I'd like to remain here in the bakery itself...now what's the matter boys, not in the mood anymore?" "Isil, you'd better remain dressed, I guess our mayor is about to burn the village a little earlier than we have expected." Gonfindl whispers as he looks out of the window and notices the mayor along with a few other men approaching the house, carrying burning tortches. "*nods* alright the trapdoor's open, now we make sure they see the three of us and then we're out of here as soon as they have lightened the house.." I whisper before opening the window. "*shouts* by orders of the inquisition corps, you three elfs are hereby sentenced to death by fire!" "*shouts back* on what ground? what have we done wrong? Is it because I've said that I take a week off, or is it because you don't have anything better to do?" "Isilheledh, all witnesses have claimed that they became ill after eating your bread, and now five have died, with the bakery gone the illness will be gone too." "*shakes head* mayor if you're willing to believe that rubbish then I regret to tell you that you're an idiot and a fool, the infested fields is your fault not ours, years ago the farmers warned you of the rats, now you have the problems, grainburn ain't lethal but the rats are..." I speak while both my lovers stand behind me. the mayor shakes his head and I close the window. "*whispers* just a little while more...you hear that?" "*listens* yes the house is burning, now can we go?" "Not yet Golradir, you go I'll follow in a second..." I respond and wait 'till both men have escaped trough the trapdoor before opening the window again "*shouts* Evert of Eleruth I curse you and the rest of this town our ghosts will return and haunt this place 'till insanity will drive y'all to death!!!" I then close the window again and also escape trough the trapdoor, slamming it shut above me. I crawl trough the tunnel and catch up with both men. "*whispers* we have to hide here 'till nightfall, and then we can go away in safety.." "*whispers back* Isil, I've found the exit, I'm going to peek outside. *pushes the trapdoor open* no one in sight so far and wow we're far away from the village, and the house is on fire. Now all we have to do is wait." "*mh, we're out of sight you say? then we can get out of here, towards the elfs of the Hidden Forest, the sooner we get there the better actually." I speak. A bit clumsy we crawl out of the tunnel and then flee into the woods, on our way to the only friends we still have left.
