*Looks at the fading snowstorm* "this is our chance, I'm too curious to find out what the library of Dun Natal is hiding." Golradir says while turning to me."*nods* alright then but I can't guarantee that we can stay here once we know too much, I grew up here and I never knew anything about the secret bookshelf behind the other books." I respond. The three of us go outside facing the still strong winds and move towards the library which is located in the town hall. "*wipes the snow off his cape* fhoo we made it, now let's see what books they still have..." Gonfindl whispers. I gaze around and notice a hatch in the floor. "*points at the hatch* look, that has been built recently, for last year it weren't here." I whisper at both. Golradir tries to open the trapdoor but it is locked and we walk towards the library. "The best thing we can do is take all the books and get the hell out of here, reading them here ain't wise."
"*taps upon my shoulder* shush, there is someone out there..." Gonfindl whispers and pulls us both into a nearby room, hidden in the dark we notice two men opening the trapdoor and then go down. Yet a second later both appear again and leave after locking the door. "*speaks softly* I recognized Marcus and Fres, but why were they here.."
"Golradir, Freya...she has been missing for some time" I whisper back. Suddenly Gonfindl grabs my hand and then says "You don't think that..."
"*shakes head* I'm not sure but the past three weeks 6 people vanish into thin air...we elves are immune to disease of any kind but...I don't have to think about the fact that this so called 'blue plague' is back." I respond.
"the sooner we have those books the better, and if that disease is back, we have to leave" Gonfindl whispers while dragging us to the bookshelf. After removing the regular books Golradir open the secret door and then gives us all the books. "*closes the door* these are the last of them, let's get out of here."
"*sorts the other books back into their place* if the illness is back, why do they keep it silent?" Gonfindl asks
"Commerce...merchants and traders won't come to a village that is infested, in a short time Dun Natal has grown from a small sleeping town into an active trading village where all sorts of merchandise are traded." I respond while peeking trough the empty corridors. The three of us then hide the books under our cloaks and use the heavy snowfall/stormwind combination as a cover to get back to the bakery. "*shuts the door behind him* that was too close, and now we're going to do some research, Isil you'd better inform your parents about this the second we have evidence that this village is infested."
"*nods* alright Gonfindl, but my parents are gone for the winter remember?"
"*taps forehead* of course, mh, we can't trust anyone here except the elves of the Hidden Forest, maybe we should read this in their presence." Golradir speaks while gazing at the books. "*opens one and plays with the pages* Hey, what's this, someone has been writing in this book, look the ink ain't dry yet..."
"*eyes widen* Golradir, we can better hide these books for someone's coming *looks trough the window again*" Gonfindl hisses in a slight panic. We hide the books under a blanket and wait for the unexpected visitor to knock at the door.
