The slim figure of an elf slipped up to the door of the Silver Arrow. She was drawn to the shiny piece of paper fluttering on the tavern door. She read the message on the torn wine label with growing delight and smiled as she picked up the gift left for her on the bench.
She quickly penned a reply on the label, laid a small box on the bench and then turned and melted back into the forest.
"Courteous Templasse! Thank you for the lovely gift. I leave for you a box of shiny apples from a region called Minoc. I will return tomorrow at even fall, and would be delighted to hear and share new tales."
