*drops the quill and sighes while rubbing in the eyes* Let's see...*begins to read out loud* it has been a year since I have demanded that one man supports up to six women, yet many of my counsil members demand that the rate of women should be only three, and then they mean the younger ones, the elder women and widows should be placed in a special house where they are to stay 'till their deaths. I as king am not agree, I Asharl of Vinyather I'm about to marry my fifth wife and I'm sure that she'll give me the heir I need, to ensure that my bloodline will continue...*pauses and drinks a gulp of milk then reads again* 'many months have passed and I'm glad to write that my three last wives are carrying my offspring. *pauses again and looks at the blank pages in the original book. Looks up when hearing footsteps on the stairs* "Gonfindl? is that you?" I ask
"Who else my love, Golradir is delivering the last set of pies...what's wrong?"
"This personal journal of the king I'm translating, its getting darker and darker I'm afraid." I respond
"So far no one is missing that book, but I do hope you'll find out more, this village carries huge secrets according to Golradir and I for one believe him." Gonfindl responds. I give him a little kiss upon his nose and gaze at the pages. "Read some more..."
"Very well...*looks for last line* ah here *reads further* I'm proud today, a son has been born, and I call out for a huge feast, for I'm father of a son...who shall have the name Erathan of Vinyather, my other two wives will give birth soon. *pauses again* Double feast today, two months since the birth of my first son, my two other children are born at the same moment, one girl and another son. Maith and Kael shall be their names. I'm the luckiest king ever, but most of all a proud father' *looks at Gonfindl and sighes* "from here the trouble begins...these are the only lines I've translated so far...'I can't find my last wive, the baby is crying yet the mother is not to be found...fear creeps in my heart when I notice the captain of the guard standing near the door with a bare behind him.' *Gonfindle looks at me* "let's get some sleep love, Golradir has returned.." Igaze at the book and begin to fear that dreadfull things have happened. Yet only by translating the whole book I can find out the truth
