Rellah sat on the edge of her feathery bed, her eyes drifting aimlessly around the dark room. Focusing on a rather large crack on her bedroom floor, she picked up the wooden brush beside her. With slow, soft strokes, she brushed her tangled hair, never wincing when she came to a knot, lifeless violet eyes focused on the crack.

She had managed to make it to the Arrow after Meravyel disappeared before her. Rellah continued to the Tao Tower, hoping to find Azeron, to let him know what had happened. She was welcomed only by the dark, dimly lit stone rooms and shelves of tattered books of the tower. The pain in her leg was more than a dull ache then, and with what strength she had left, she carefully whispered one of her chivalry spells, bringing her back home.

The villa in Cove stood inanimately against the night sky. The light reflected off the water gave it a surreal, dreamy glow, and Rellah hesitated at the steps, feeling as though she was visiting the house for the first time. She would never be able to call this her home, even though she wanted to so badly. Her time here was almost over.

Now, Rellah sat in her dark bedroom, brushing her hair, over and over, until it had a silky appearance. Her hand lowered to her side, and the wooden brush slipped out of her fingers and landed loudly on the floor, breaking her stare from the crack on the floor. A shot of pain jolted her, making dreamy state dissipate and letting reality set in once again. Rellah carefully removed all of her clothing, turning her leg toward the light of the moon coming in through her window. Odessa had wounded her pretty well, the claw marks were deep, though healing. Her silver blood had dried in a line down her leg to her ankle.

Rellah turned toward the bowl of water she had brought in from outside earlier. She took a water-soaked piece of cloth out of the bowl, carefully applying it to her skin. Rellah ignored the tenderness of the skin around the cuts as her delicate hands rubbed away the dried blood from her leg, Setting the bowl on a small table, she picked up the clean cloth she had cut into bandages, and slowly wrapped the wound.

Rellah pulled back the covers to her bed, and slowly climbed in. The temperature had dropped dramatically within the last fifteen minutes, and she wanted the warmth of her bed to guide her into dreamless sleep. Her mind kept taunting her with a question, one to which she didnt know the answer to, before exhaustion finally overpowered her mind, and carried her into sleep.
