A few words about tonight's hunt.

Aaye! As you may know I am running a hunt tonight to slay the Ancient Wyrm. For those who have not hunted this Creature, let me recommend you bring your best armor for the Beast can now slay a lightly protected foe in one blast of His mighty breath.

Know also that this Creature will take on human form in an attempt to confuse his foe. Woe unto he who gets too close thinking this Form an ally.

We will need mostly archers and mages, but I would also like to have a few melee fighters to keep the vermin (trolls, various undead, imps) from confusing the team tackling the Wyrm. Also they will be needed to take down the two wyverns who form a guard for His Majesty. Alternatively a good bard can handle this task.

Participants should be sure to bring Dragon Slaying weapons, plenty of bandages and reagents, and to make sure your valuable items are insured.

Be alert! If you get hurt, even a scratch, withdraw and heal. Someone else can carry the fight while you are gone, and facing the Wyrm's wrath in a weakened state is ALWAYS fatal.

Don't bring your pet dragon. It will die.

Pick up as much gold as you can safely carry. Participants will be responsible for their own loot since there will be too much gold to carry. Nifty magic items will be pooled and auctioned off at the Silver Arrow after the hunt with the proceeds going the the Festival to be given as prizes.

Please come in a spirit of cooperation and goodwill, for these will be needed to avoid a disaster. All are welcome, but any questionable behavior will result in being removed from the hunting party and banning from all future hunts I run.

I am taking this hunt seriously and hope to bag a half dozen Wyrms while taking no casualties. Can we do it? We shall see.
