introduction of MAEGLIN the woodelf

Aaye, Tel'Mithrim!

My name is Maeglin Arrnamegil. Follower of Seorsa. I am 14 human years. I am a woodelf ( Taur'Quessir ), and a Ranger ( Taur'Othar ). I hail from Kuldahar, in Icewind Dale, The Forgotten Realms. When I was about 12 humanyears, there was a Goblin attack on Kuldahar! Many hordes of Goblins surrounded the town, there was not much to do, but everyone fought bravely. Fortunately a group of adventurers arrived in town, and killed the last of the Goblin hordes. I got a few wounds or two. Anyway, a week later my cousin, Hilendur, and I, left Kuldahar (since the Goblins burned our homes). We went to the Feldepost Inn, in Beregost, a town near Candlekeep. There we met Pippen, a halfling Thief, and we became friends. I decided to travel alone for a while, to get some experience in fighting, since I am a Ranger and all that. I visited The Uthgard tribes, so I could learn a little from them, they are exellent fighters! Two weeks later I returned to Pippen and Hilendur. We all decided to travel together. Alas, one day we met a strange old man, on the way north to Athkatla, he offered a trip to Britannia for a cheap price, we accepted his offer, though we did not know what this "Britannia" was; anyway, he took us to Britannia. And there I heard something about Tel'Mithrim, The Grey Company. I thougt it would be a good idea to join. So hopefully I'll soon be a member. By the way - I allready read and speak some elvish - I get by. he-he...
