> > Entering the Silver Arrow I noticed a spider corpse near the stable. I was a little apprehensive about leaving Vendu, my steed in the pen. He shied away from the decaying corpse as I led him into the stable.> > No sooner than I had ordered a drink and sat down than a brigand attacked Vendu. The wine slowed my reflexes and by the time I was to the stable the brigand had slain my trusty steed.
> > With the help of Aragorn, we were able to slay the brigand.
> > I was able to wisk Vendu's spirit to a vet I know and have his soul returned. I offered the vet a reward but he refused and instead slipped me a piece of paper.
> > I returned to the Silver Arrow. Aragorn and I performed a patrol around the area to dispatch any further threat to the tavern or it's patron.
> > I once again entered the tavern, bought another bottle of wine sat down at a table and pulled out the paper the vet had stuffed into my hand. Upon initial examination it appeared to be a map of some sort.
> > Aragorn and Ledolas noticed me trying to decipher the map and offered to help. I gladly accepted knowing that help is one of the greatest gifts that another can offer.
> > Well we all took turns trying to decipher the map. After a time I was able to make out the areas around the map. We all gazed in wonderment. It seemed to be a treasure map. And as luck would have it the map also showed a familiar landmark. The Shrine of Valor.
> > Being the traveler I am I happened to have a rune to the shrine. We quickly formed a small group and set out to the Isle of Valor. The area around the shrine was infested with alligators and large serpents that would love to snack on elf and human alike. We manage to clear the area without too much trouble though Aragorn did receive a few minor cuts.
> > Aragorn volunteered to dig for the treasure. After digging many holes the shovel hit something hard *clink*, something metal. Soon a metal chest was uncovered. None of us were able to pick the lock, and then I remembered an old spell. I cast the spell and the lock popped open. Aragorn proceeded to retrieve the items while the rest of us stood guard in case the owners return.
> > A ratman that I think wanted the treasure for himself did show up but was quickly dispatched. After Aragorn retrieved the treasure from the chest we headed back to the Silver Arrow to divide the treasure.
> > Aragorn, Ledolas and Di.., thanks for the adventure.
> > Aaron
