I'm glad you didn't find it boring, because I'm not much of a story teller (I seem to get lost in details) As for the battle itself...Gromir did say to me not to tell everyone but...it has been so long since it happened, I figured It's about time someone learned the truth about the death of Gromir and his clan. Somehow...I think his spirit told me to tell someone of the battle...recently I have been having more and more dreams of him and the Iron hills, all ending with the sound of a weak voice saying:"orcs...west...att.." As for the dwarves...they are a truly noble race. They may be tough and harsh sometimes, but then again so are their lives. As for Gromir, after finding me and bringing me to my feet he wanted to send me out into the world straight away...but he was so mooved by my story...by the loss of my home and my parents, that he let me stay as his son. "Ye will always have a home in the Iron Hills, laddie" he would say... |
