For its entire life, our land has been but a stage upon which thousands of mighty tournaments and bloody trials have been waged. None of these phenomenons have been more exciting than those hosted by the Knights of the Alliance. The Golden Knights event is in its 5th year of contest; it is now time for the seventy-first act. Ladies and gentlemen, the KoA proudly presents: Golden Knights #71 – “Back to the Basics.”

What: Golden Knights #71
When: Friday, April 11, 7:00pm CST (Registration begins at 6:30pm)
Where: The Town of Acheron, 136o 56'S-27o 8'E

This event is a 2v2 team effort and all playstyles/classes are welcome to participate. Each fight will start with the teams standing at opposite ends of the arena. A wall of stone will be cast between them and fighting begins when it disappears. There are but few rules and they are as follows:

Spells & Skills
-No summoning
-No field spells
-No tamed animals
-No hiding

Weapons & Armor
-ARMOR AND WEAPONS MUST BE EITHER IRON OR DULL COPPER CRAFTED
-Leather armor is acceptable
-No skill enhancing/magic armor or weapons will be allowed
-No runic weapons
-No spell channeling weapons

Items\Potions\Other
-No magic/modifying items or clothing of any type
-No “blessing” items (+10 +10 +10 of Str/Dex/Int)
-No “casting/fast recovery” items
-All potions are legal except “Purple” Explosion
-No pre-casting, pre-drinking, pre-anything is allowed.

The last team standing will earn 500,000 gold. Second place receives 250,000 and the third-place team will walk away with 100,000 gold. The entrance fee is 10K (10,000) gold per team, which must be paid at registration. Please bring a check! For those of you who might not be willing to walk to our event, gates will be provided from the Jhelom moongate and also from the west bank in Britain starting around 6:30pm. The entire KoA staff will be clad in blue and gold so we can be easily recognized. Feel free to find one of us if you have any questions.
