You sure are right Tug! Thank you for telling me. For those interested the link to the section is here:
https://grey-company.evernorth.net/riklaun/The specific bladesinger template:
https://grey-company.evernorth.net/riklaun/blade.htm
Yet, I must say, that the bladesinger template seems rather outdated and that is seriously needs to re-evaluated in the light of AoS.
Just some examples:
Parrying.
It is said that a bladesinger does not use a shield, but does that mean he should not have parry skill either? I mean with the new parry rules one can parry without using a shield.
Magic resistance.
Should magic resistance still be solid part of the bladesinger template? The function of the skill has deeply changed with AoS and it no longer has a bearing on protection against direct spell damage.
Magery vs. Chivalry.
Furthermore magery is no longer the only path of magic in Britannia. There are now three paths: Magery, Chivalry and Necromancy. Necromancy is probably ruled out in advance excpet perhaps form drows. Yet, indeed seen from a strictly game mechanic point of view chivalry magic might seem more appropriate than magery for a template, which plans on using a sword as a key part of its combat style. Of course the spell channeling feature on some weapons is a joker here, which can alter how Magery can be used, but then again is might be good to clarify how the bladesinger template should relate to the use of spell channeling weapons. I mean there are spell channeling shields too, which in no way hinder your fighting ability nor your ability to use magic.
Evaluate Intelligence.
According to what one answers to the above question about magery one might also want to consider if Evaluate Intelligence should be a part of the template or nay. With the coming of AoS magery without Evaluate Intelligence will leave you with almost useless directly offensive spells (e.g. corp por). Of course you can still summon blade spirits and energy vortexes, but is it at all allowed for bladesingers to have such magical creations fight for them?
In other words what is the bladesinger after with his ability to cast spells?
Summoned creatures or direct offensive damage e.g. Corp Por. If it is the later then evaluate intelligence must be part of the template.

PS:
Quote:"TGC already has a template (Gods do I dislike that term) for a Bladesinger character within UO"
I just wonder if you do not like to call it a template what do you want to call it then?
