Should a bladesinger have healing you think?

Should a bladesinger have the healing skill healing you think or should they heal through magery alone?

I myself would probably make a possible bladesinger more like a mage with weapon skill rather than the other way around i.e. a warrior with mage skills. Thus I would probably not add healing to the template and just use the protection spell to avoid being interrupted when in close combat.

What do the rest of you think?
