"The High Court today grants a severance of the marriage union between Glorfindle En'Seer and Lady Joylah of Yew. This divorce is effective immediately, and stands upon the terms of their existing seperation."
Justicar RainGlorfindle read it over again and again before finally setting the parchment aside. His head swam from too much wine consumed at the Arrow that evening. Along with the swirling of the wine, the words of Ithilwen sung in his head over and over.
"It is fine to regret ones mistakes as long as they are able to learn from them."
Glor sighed softly and lay down in his bed of pillows. He did regret how things had happened. His own mistakes had brought his marriage down around him, yet now that was all in the past and he could focus on what was yet to come.
He sat up and went to fetch the parchment. He took it downstairs to a small metal box he kept locked on his desk. Opening the box, he scanned the contents...A lock of hair and a small mithril band, engraved on both sides. He added the parchment to the small collection and snapped the lid shut and locked.
That done he turned and looked out at the night, a faint smile crossing his lips. He wondered to himself of Veil was home and decided to go find out.
