Please forgive me when I ask this but is this a serious question?

Saying it is then one must assume the asker is not familiar with the history of the elven people.

To state it quickly and simply. The Drow are elves, elves that chose to follow the path of darkness early in the elven timeline.

The Drow are elves, their language is elven. One must also understand that the surface elves view the Drow as non-elven and the Drow view the surface elves in a equal if not greater un-nice way.

The asker should also understand that the quessir of Tel'Ruid harbour a strong almost bigoted view of the Drow race. Not that it is wrong as all the peoples of the known planes have the right to believe as they wish.

There are exceptions but there is only one exception as of this day that is the Drow called K. Wael.

I would suggest the asker do research on it, I believe the asker will be enlightened and amazed in the richness he or she will find with both cultures.
