Many, many questions

This isn't even all of the questions I have; I'm trying not to be annoying.
~Concerning UO
Age of Shadows is going to be $50, not $20, huh? The FAQ says anywhere between $20 and $50, but I had to ask.
One can only play one character in UO?
Can you leave a shard once you've entered?
I assume you can return the game, what with that free month?

~Concerning Roleplaying
So maturity is more important than age. Why do you then specify that your players are 18 and up? Does that mean that even if I do get UO, I cannot join? (Yes, I am under 18, but I shan't be telling you exactly how far under 18.)
Do we have to have a backround story for our elves?

According to some, green is 'lego' or some such thing. Leaf is lasse, and I suppose that's well enough for the accompanying rumour, but have you anything disputing 'lego'?
the phrase 'you laugh' is to be said: 'Lalle,' 'llelal,' 'lala lle, (I think that's out of syntax, but what the hey)' 'Lle lala.' ? (May The Grammarian heve mercy...)
