Re: A new arrival

Thanks for the kind words. To set the context, I have been RP'ing since I started in D&D (that's right, no 'A') back in school, rather more than 20 years ago. I'm here really because I want to research how to RP an elf and the best way to do this is through contact with other like minded individuals.

Language is all part of the interest for me and while I respect that not everyone wants to have to hack their way through a big chunk of elven I love working in a new language - at least in its written form (real time translation is a bit tough). In future, however, if I'm doing a RP'd post I'll add in a translation. Sometimes I like to post poetry and stories, in which case I'll leave them in elven and let those who want to work them out!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better. I won't be around a huge amount but I will try to be active here and get into the game whenever I can.
