An Open letter from the new TLC Ambassador in Tel'Ruid

To the Fair Folk of Tel'Ruid,

As the new Ambassador of TLC in Tel'Ruid, I bear wishes of good will and friendship from the world of virtuous men and women. It is my hope, that I over time shall get to know the present residents of Tel'Ruid and that ye shall get to know me. I will use this open letter as an opportunity to speak a few brief words about my background, thus beginning with myself now that I wish to learn of ye.

As a son of miners I herald from Minoc, the City of Sacrifice. During my youth I studied with the brothers of Empath Abbey. When youth became manhood the brothers found that I should undertake studies at the Lycaeum, which I did. Personal matters made me leave the Lycaeum and a number of years went by during which various matters took up my time. Among them the writing of a work, which interested Maynard, the Abbot of Virtue in Rivendell. He offered me to join the Order of Virtue. I accepted and spent a time as a common member of the Order. But Maynard was old and all too soon he wished to withdraw from the seat of abbacy. He asked me to take the seat of abbacy after him, an offer, which I was honoured to accept. Those of you, who might know my name already has probably come to know it during the following period where I was known as: Brother Selwyn, Abbot of Virtue. Yet, there came a day when I understood that my time as the Abbot of Virtue in The Order of Virtue in Rivendell had come to an end. The Order needed a new leader and the seat of abbacy passed on to Sister Elizabeth, who became the first Abbess of Virtue the Order had seen. I left Rivendell behind and began wandering the wilderness, while often visiting old friends in TLC. Thus it one day came to pass that I found myself wishing for membership of the TLC. I was granted my wish and the embassy in Tel'Ruid was placed in my care.

Thus it came to be, that I became the new ambassador of TLC in Tel'Ruid.
May my stay be peaceful and breed mutual respect and understanding.
