A mysteriouse begining

A dark figure passes from shadow to shadow just beyond the walls of Megilindir Barad. The figure melts into any shadow that it passes. The strange thing approaches the Silver Arrow Tavern. The Elf quickly climbs into a tree after hearing a twig behind him. He spends the rest of the night there, in the safety of the treetops where he was born.
