> I knew that the day would come when Nienna would leave the place of exile to seek revenge on the evil that destroyed her sister. I did not think that it would come so soon. After leaving Nienna, I travelled for about 3 days before I came to a place where I could rest. I went through a deep dark forest to get to this place. It was in a small clearing in the wood. Something led me there. To this day I do not know what but I know that the elf who lived there wanted me to find him. I walked in to the clearing slowly and cautiously. I did not know who lived there but I felt a sense of homeliness and peace as I walked towards it. I kept telling myself that it could have been a trick cast by some evil witch or wizard so I made sure that I was cautious and careful when approaching it. I knocked on the door of the cottage. It was answered by an old elf who introduced himself as Feanor. I did not give him my name immediately although I desperately wished for him to know who I was. I felt at home in his cottage, as if it was a place that I had known all my life. It was so far away from my homeland that I knew this could not be true. Feanor took me inside his home and gave me a drink and something to eat. I was weary from my journey and he knew this and did not begin to ask me many questions about who I was and where I came from. He gave me a place to sleep and looked after me for a week. I knew that I could not stay long. I had to get to somewhere safe for me to be. I knew I had to get to Tel’Ruid as quickly as possible. On my last day in the cottage Feanor sat me down and began to speak to me in a foreign language. Although I had never heard the language before, I understood every word he was saying. He told me about something that had happened to me when I was an infant. When I was a young elf, I had been taken away from my parents by another couple of elves who I now called my mother and father. I had been given to them by my parents in order to save me from the same evil that had destroyed Lirimaer. Feanor was my grandfather. He had known who I was since the moment he had laid eyes on me but he did not wish to say anything about it. He did not want to frighten me but he believed that I deserved to know the truth. It scared me a lot. I wanted to know more. I wanted to see my real parents. I wanted to learn all about my past. He could tell me no more. My parents had long since died and he did not know much about what had happened. He wanted to help me but told me that I had to find all the answers to my questions myself. I begged him to help me but he refused. Before I left, I told him about Nienna and Lirimaer. He told me that he would be there to help whenever Nienna left the place of exile. We knew she would. It was amazing to have finally found someone I could trust. As I left I saw the tears rolling down his cheeks and I felt my own eyes welling up. I left as quickly as I could before he saw me crying.I wandered through the forest until I came to the end of it. All I could see were hills and mountains for miles………………

*Shivers a bit* my it must be hard for you to hear such things...I'm looking foreward to read the next part *smiles warmly*
