Stirring in the darkness Tristan Caster
A thin strand of hair drifted slowly across Tristans face, his eyes sternly landed on a young girl sitting across the room from him. Her body language suggested she had no idea he was watching. Months of remaining deeply encrusted in the background had left Tristan rather used to not being noticed, he stirred lighting a cigarette and adjusting his robe carefully as he crossed his legs. His eyes flickered rapidly, as he perused the room and its contents. The Cove tavern was small and homely, although tonight the mood was a little darker, the talk of vampires had the town in uproar, much to Tristans amusement, as it made it twice as easy for himself to go unnoticed.
Exhaling a stream of smoke slowly through his nostrils, he scribbled a note on a wrinkly piece of paper, rising slowly the absurdly tall shade slowly crept towards the bar. Tucking a bag of coin in the plump bartenders pocket along with the note, he whispered.
"This is to go to Christina.....You'll know her when you see her....ensure it gets to her."
Tristans thin lips curled into a grin, as the old man gradually recognized his face.
"Yo...Yu...you, but I....Yes sir..I'll...uhm do that!"
Tristan nodded slowly, before quickly slipping out of the Tavern unnoticed.
The note read:
*******************
"I'll be in touch, be ready for something big
-Tristan"
