I went through a similar thing. Pancreatitis had my blood sugar over 900 when I went into the hospital. A couple of nights in IC puts things in a whole new light. :-)

The good news is that diet and exercise really makes a big dif.

All the best to you and yours. That's a scarey thing you just went through for you AND your family. Get well soon. And don't worry, I'll eat your Halloween candy for you so you won't be tempted. :-)
