I still look at the town elders, who stand in at the town square, everything is silent and a cold wind blows around them. "*sighes* you old fool, did you really think we'd destroy a scroll that leads us to a treasure that is larger than you can imagine, for that we needed a body to find out where it is..." Ryantir says as he walks closer to Uther and Lancelot. "*runs to his father* the altar is ready father, all we need is the body, of the victim." Gonfindle says. "*looks at Ryantir* there ain't a treasure, the scroll mentions it but it is meant to release the demon...you've been blinded by greed, and Isilheledh's ghost can only remain here in this world by standing in that circle..." Gonfindle then says. I stand spellbound and try to figure out what they were thinking, using me for finding a treasure? The river gives more gemstones than fish and still those old greedy creeps aren't satisfied. "*shouts* being a ghost ain't my idea of a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I then fall onto my knees and cry bitter tears. "you've used our daughter as an instrument to satisfy your greed, and now we hope and pray that everything might turn back to normal..." I hear my mother say with a raspy voice. Uther jumps upon his horse and then says "it's dawn, I'll search for the girl myself, *looks at Gonfindle* the girls here are excellent dancers, if you need help, ask them.." "*nods* I sure will, I give you a whole day to find her, meanwile *looks at the young ladies* I need volunteers to dance a very agressive dance, it is very exhausting but..." Gonfindle says "*raises her hand* say no more, we'll get our danceclothes and will help..." Ryana says. Meanwhile Lancelot has walked closer to me and says "don't be so sad dear, if your father agrees, you and your family can move out of this village and live inside the castle." Gonfindle waves at a girl and says "I'll need other clothes too, only a skirt will do, for my chest has to be bare..." "*nods* good, come, we'll find something..." Ryana responds. I freeze when I see Gonfindle walking out of a house, his chest bare and muscled, (a bit too much for being an elf) "*waves at his son* here the paint for the symbols, *takes some paint upon a finger* let me help, the ladies..." lancelot says. "*nods* thank you father, the Lord of Light be praised that I have enough strength to dance the complete dance." Gonfindle says while smirking some paint over his chest, drawing strange symbols. I walk up and down in the circle while both men teach the dancing girls the dance they need. My father and my mother sit upon a bench angry at the town elders and afraid at the same time. At a distance I see Uther dissapear behind a hill. Ryantir stands near the town hall and then walks over to Lancelot "*hisses* do you really think that we're going to let you carry out your plans?" "*Looks up* What? Do you really want to sacrifice my daughter?!" My father suddenly shouts. "*Looks at my father* have you forgotten why we took you into the village? Shouldn't you be thankfull?" Ryantir asks. "*raises from the bench* What?! Thankfull for the misery we have known so far? You didn't hesitated to sell her to the Drow pirates, due to a miracle we get her back...she recovers from her heavy journey and you decide to deny her acces to the temple where the dances are held. She decides to begin a bakery, and you demand half of her profits, just so that you can wear even more expensive clothes...*walks closer to Ryantir* pompous idiot!!!" my father responds. I stand in the circle near the altar and shake my head. "*winks* you bake pies?" Gonfindle asks. I nod and answer "yes, the people of Tel'Ruid, over the Great Sea, they like them very much..." "*walks closer* will you bake one for me?" he asks with a smoothe voice that reminds me of liquid hunney. I then turn around and look at my father who's held by Lancelot. "don't my friend...you once offered me a few gemstones in exchange for your help, leave it, and let ME help YOU..." Lancelot says. "*turns around* with what?" my father asks. "a new home, in the castle when it is rebuilt of course.." Lancelot answers. I look at my parents, hoping that they would respond, soon.
