Nabu Tabu, my long-time adventuring friend, incarnated in the Neverwinter Nights Resurrection realm as a cleric of Oghma. While traveling in Floodblest, he met up with Borin of Clan Axepeak, a dwarven fighter/thief. They made their way back to Neverwinter, where Szule Eshenkail, an elven priest, joined the party. The Neverwintan Militia shouted alarms: the city was under attack! Hordes of hounds raced through the streets, snarling and biting at the guards! The trio of adventurers leapt to counter-strike.
After ridding the threat of the canine interlopers, shouts from the guards told of bandits attacking from the Wharves. Nabu, Borin, and Szule raced there to find the Neverwintarn Militia in battle against bandit forces and their pet hounds.

Fighting raged across the Wharves to the east bridge. Finally, the bandit invaders were repelled. In the aftermath, a guard thanked Borin, Szule, and Nabu for their aid. He explained that reports linked the bandits to locations in the Neverwinter Wood. The adventurers discussed plans to mount an expedition to the woods someday soon. The guard sped off to inform Lord Nasher of the situation.
The night's adventure was far from ended, as undead skeletons shambled forth from the northwest section of the Wharves. Szule, Borin, and Nabu battled the creatures back to their source, a fallen temple. Within, a fearsome menagerie of undead horrors including zombies, skeletal warriors, and succubi opposed the intrepid trio. Inside the temple's central chamber, the adventurers found a lich who controlled the monsters. Borin struck down the lich and ended the threat.
Returning to Neverwinter, the party encountered flocks of stirges attacking the city gates. They joined guard Ember in beating back the avian assault.

Later, while adventuring in the sewers beneath Neverwinter, uncanny challenges continued to spring forth. 'Twas as if some dark lord watched over the party Vorn-fully ... er, scornfully and orchestrated the evil attacks.
But, for what sinister purpose?
